Overpowering
Don’t use too much tarragon in your dishes, as its flavour can be quite overpowering. Use no more than a teaspoon.
Combine
Tarragon has a subtle anise-like flavour that pairs beautifully with fish, chicken, eggs and salads. Add it to dressings, marinades, sauces or soups for a refined touch. It also goes well with garlic, lemon or mustard. Try making tarragon butter to serve with grilled vegetables or meat.
