Growing Method

Lollo Rossa lettuce is grown in open fields, greenhouses and troughs. In open fields it develops outdoors in the open air, while in greenhouses the ambient temperature can be controlled. Troughs provide more efficient water drainage and nutrient uptake. Each cultivation method affects the lettuce’s growth and quality, resulting in different traits and characteristics.
