Company Information
Paul Van Hoof and his son Pieter grow runner beans and cauliflowers together. They initially started with runner beans because they wanted to cultivate something unique. Later, they added cauliflowers, since runner beans cannot be grown year-round.
Cultivation Information
A cauliflower takes approximately 100 days to grow. Sometimes it takes a bit longer or happens quicker—it all depends on the weather. Cauliflowers are grown under cold glass.
Facts about Paul & Pieter
They still enjoy eating runner beans and cauliflower themselves. They also think it's very important for consumers to buy Belgian products. Here in Belgium, we have fantastic products of exceptional quality. They might cost slightly more in the shop, but they've travelled far fewer polluting kilometres to reach your local store, compared to products transported by plane or boat.
