Jonagold

The Jonagold apple is the most eaten apple variety in Belgium. Not surprising, as it’s regularly planted in the Sint-Truiden fruit region in Limburg’s Haspengouw. This homegrown apple has a golden-yellow colour with a striking red blush. It’s large and firm, with pale yellow, juicy flesh. If you’re looking for a pleasant sweet-tart flavour, Jonagold is the one!
