Philip and Erica De Swert took over the business from Erica’s parents in 2009. They currently grow red sweet pointed peppers. “We strongly believe it’s a product with lots of potential that many people have yet to discover,” says Philip.
Philip especially enjoys managing the crop. “I like focusing on steering the crop and making sure we produce high-quality peppers,” he says. Erica, on the other hand, enjoys keeping pests under control. “I like using biological methods to manage the pests in the greenhouse as effectively as possible,” she explains.
Philip and Erica definitely plan to expand their production in the future.
